21-year-old Survives Bullet to the Face

Last night a 21 year old man had one of the closest encounters with death that we've ever seen. From his bed at his home in the Lake Independence Area, Moses Middleton told us he was riding his bicycle along Amara Avenue when two men also on bicycles overtook him. One of the men then turned around and shot him in his right temple. While Moses would not speak to us on camera he did show us his injury as can be seen the bullet entered is temple and exited on the left side of his neck causing him no major injury. He says however that the bone structure of his face was damaged and needs to be repaired and that kind of surgery cannot be done here. Middleton says he does not know who shot him or why and police are looking for suspects.
