A Chinese businessman is out on bail tonight after he was charged for shooting one of his customers. His alleged victim is 31-year-old Lloyd Leslie who told police that Sunday morning he had an argument with Chinese Grocer Jian Hong Chen over boledo he had bought. Leslie claims that the exchange of words turned into fire when Chen pulled out a gun and aimed it at him. He claims he tried to escape but Chen fired off a single shot catching him in his right calf. Chen was today arraigned in Magistrate's Court for use of deadly means of harm, wounding, and discharging a firearm. He was released on bail. We note that Leslie hopped up the stairs and into Magistrate's Court today for Chen's appearance.
