Backyard Execution in Cayo

A 42-year-old father was executed in his backyard in the Cayo area last night. The victim is Miguel Angel Guevara who is a resident of 7-mile Village on the Georgeville Road in the Cayo District. Not much is known other than what police are reporting which is that Guevara was playing cards in his backyard around 6 yesterday evening when he was a hit by a bullet from the bushes. Witnesses tell police Guevara let out a cry and collapsed. He was dead on arrival at the San Ignacio Town Hospital. Police have no immediate suspects.
