Jackie Willoughby Silenced...in Court

PSU National President Dylan Reneau is fighting a government ordered transfer to Punta Gorda and now his outspoken Branch President in Belize City is fighting her own battle against her boss. 7NEWS has confirmed that Jackie Willoughby, Prosecutor for Magistrate's Court #6 in Belize City has been effectively demoted. The DPP's office sent Willoughby a letter on May 17th accusing her of being repeatedly absent from work during the recent months. With that, she was ordered to immediately hand over all files to police prosecutor Corporal Magdaleno. Handing over the files seems like a suspension, but Willoughby has only been stripped of her prosecution duties since she is now to sit beside Corporal Magdaleno who will conduct the prosecutions.
