Last year on the Commonwealth Day Weekend the Heights of Vibes musical collective made history when members organized a made for DVD concert event at the site of the former Paslow Building, popularly known as Ground Zero. This year, they don't plan on repeating history, they say they'll make it better. It is going to another "made for DVD" instant classic but organizers Fawda Lee and Orson Picart say the lineup will be outstanding and all inclusive.

Fawda Lee,
"We have to do it again this year because Belizeans youths have a tremendous amount of talent which nobody is trying to show off for them so this is the only way right where we see we can put all of them together in one place and you live in peace and unity and they sing and just lovely."

Orson Picart,
"We have artists from north, south, east, and west who will be a part of the Heights A Vibes DVD open air concert and we are trying to use this concert as an annual thing to be a catalyst for pushing forward and making sure that Belizean people become familiar with their Belizean artists and stop calling them local artists because we don't call foreign artists, when we go to foreign, 'foreign local artists,' we call them artists. So we have our Belizean artists and we are trying to do away with that stigma of local, local is kind of demeaning. We are trying to use it to kind of propel the Belizean music industry from one level where it is right to a higher level because we are seeing where this different recording studios in the city are upping the ante with their production so its just a big effort to push it forward and make that more stronger and make sure the Belizean artists can offer their talent."

The show starts at 1:00 pm on Monday afternoon at Ground Zero.
