A 14-year-old teenage boy and a 19 year old are tonight in jail for Saturday night's murder of Cleopho "Kerob" Lambey. 19-year-old Leroy Ramsey and the 14 year old were arraigned for murder before Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord. They were remanded to the Hattieville Prison until August 1st.
Lambey was killed with a fatal shot to his chest around midnight on Saturday near his King Street home. Witnesses say Lambey was buying food when he was approached by two boys on bikes. One pulled out a gun and fired the single and fatal shot.
Why did they do it? Well police investigation has shown that the motive was robbery because Lambey had just won some money on a gaming machine. Still, it is not known if they got off with the money.
