Police are also close to wrapping up their investigation into Tuesday afternoon's robbery of a Running W deliveryman. As we reported, Jose Martinez was making a delivery to Ying Ying Store in the Lake Independence Area when his assistant was jumped by two robbers. Martinez went to assist and that's when he was shot as one of the bullets grazed his left cheekbone. Today police charged 21-year-old Raymond Allen with attempted murder, dangerous harm, use of deadly means of harm, and robbery. Police say Allen was positively identified in an ID parade but his sister Shawna August says her brother was set up. Shawna August says Allen couldn't have committed the robbery since around midday on Tuesday he was cutting a yard in the Belama area.

"He was up the road in Belama. He wasn't in the city. He came to my house after 1 o'clock and he wasn't here none at all. My brother came to my
house after 1. He came and he spoke to me and my brother tells me everything. It doesn't matter what it he, he will tell me. If he had done it, he would have told me he did it.
Everybody in the family is emotional right now because Raymond is an innocent person. So everybody feels it hard. Everybody tries to help Raymond."

And you are sure your brother wasn't around Ying Ying when this crime was committed?
Shawna August,
"Yes I am sure. My brother wasn't anywhere in Belize. My just came down the day when he came to me. We still have the clothes to prove that Raymond was working, he was cutting yards that day. We have everything to prove it. We even got people to say that Raymond was cutting their yard."
Insp. Oscar Puga,
"Intense investigations also led us, by the assistance of the public again, to the identity of two suspects whereby at this time we have arrested one of the suspects. The other is still at large."
When Allen appeared in court today he was denied bail. Police are still searching for the additional suspect.
