Today, armed gunmen held up the BWSL offices in Orange Walk and made off with the day's earnings and customers' belongings. At around 2:20 this afternoon two men: one of Hispanic descent and the other of Creole descent entered into the offices of BWSL located on Stadium Street. The men wore caps and bandanas over their faces, and one of them pulled out a pump action shotgun and held up the customers while the other jumped over the counter and made off with the cash pan containing $4,668 in cash and $1,000 in checks. They then proceeded to rob the employees of the company of their personal belongings including three cell phones. They then exited the offices and made their escape on bicycles. Police have mounted numerous checkpoints in the hopes of catching the robbers, but up to newstime, no one had been arrested.
