Police Constable Guilty of Rape

A veteran police constable with thirty years on the force is tonight a convicted rapist. This afternoon a jury found Constable Evan Reynolds guilty of two counts of rape. Reynolds was charged for raping a 12 year old on two occasions while he was attached to the Benque Viejo police station. The first instance was between November and December of 2003 while the second was in February of 2004. The child's mother made a police report in June of 2004. Audrey Matura successfully prosecuted the case while Simeon Sampson defended Reynolds. He will be sentenced on March 8.
