A daring trio of robbers pulled off an armed jacking of a business establishment today, but tonight, they are in police detention after quick work to recapture them.
At 1:45 this afternoon, the three of them stormed into Creative Tiles and Windows at mile 2½ on the Northern Highway. One of them carried a gun and they took cash as well as jewelry from employees and patrons. That only took a few minutes and they hopped into a green Isuzu Trooper and sped off. Police responded within minutes and headed north where they found the SUV in the Lord's Bank Area. The police team then descended on a house near to where the Trooper was parked and found 33 year old Sherlock Martinez of Sibun Street, Herman Eligio of Morning Glory Street, and 20-year-old Dario Crickshank of Banak Street.
Martinez had a gold chain and $356 in cash, Eligio had two gold chains and $328 in cash and Crickshank had a passport belonging to one of the victims. A search of the house resulted in the discovery of a 9mm pistol along with a magazine containing 10 live rounds. All three plus the tenant of the house 20 year old June Jones are detained pending charges.
