"We just wanted to get to Dangriga," that's what 22-year-old Solomon Marin allegedly told police to explain why they abducted and carjacked 20 year old Leon Castillo in Belmopan on Saturday afternoon.

As we've reported, Castillo was leaving the First Caribbean Bank in the center of the city when the two approached him with a gun, stuffed him into his car, left him tied to a tree on the roadside, and then drove off in the SUV.

Police found the Rodeo near Marin's home in Dangriga and have now charged him and his 17-year-old cousin for kidnapping, robbery, and taking a conveyance without permission. Both appeared in Magistrate's Court in Belmopan today and have been remanded to prison. Police are looking for one more young man and he will similarly be charged if and when he is apprehended.
