Petty jealousy over a girl, that's what police say motivated four young men to kill 20-year-old David Pook on Saturday morning. He was found stabbed to death in the bushes off Faber's Road on Monday morning, and since then police have been working steadly to track down the suspects.
Today CIB Boss ASP Chester Williams found one of them, Clarence "Cash Money" Grant hiding in Mahogany Heights. He is believed to have fled San Pedro yesterday when he heard police were looking for him. And while they have this suspect, they are still looking for Ronnel Gonzalez, the 24 year old who they say orchestrated the execution of David Pook.

“We this afternoon apprehended one of the persons in the name of Clarence Grant who is wanted for that particular incident. We are still looking for three more persons, one Ronnel Gonzalez who we
understand and it has been confirmed that he fled the country on Sunday enroute to California and we are also looking for one Edward Henry and another person who at this time is only identified to us as Howard.
The motive for this particular incident from the investigation seems to have evolved over a female. The boy Gonzalez and the deceased seemed to have had a misunderstanding over a female and that misunderstanding is what led to the unfortunate death of David Pook.
As maybe young boys the animosity and beef still existed between the two of them. Probably Gonzalez was still annoyed over the fact that Pook may have caused him and his girlfriend to separate and maybe that beef is still ongoing.”

Were these people who would later be named as the murderers, were these people
stalking him?

“From what we gathered is that they had obtained the services of a female to take him to the location where the incident occurred and when he got there, they attacked him and subsequently murdered him.”

So from the information you all have gathered, so far it seems that he was seduced to go to a location for an amorous encounter with a female?
ASP Chester Williams,
“Basically based on what we gathered is that he knows he was going to meet Ronnel at the location he was going. But the meeting, as he was told, was that they were only supposed to talk and only Ronnel was supposed to be there but when they got there, three others jumped out of a vehicle and they attacked him, chased him into the bushes, and subsequently murdered him.”
A warrant has been issued for the arrests of Edward Henry and Ronnel Gonzalez. There is one other man who police believed fled to California on Sunday.
