He Snatched an Infant's Gold Chain

Police on San Pedro say that on Sunday night, nineteen-year-old Honduran National Juan Martinez tackled a 5-year-old boy for his $300 gold chain. The young victim is Uzri Coleman. The boy was with his father around 8 pm on Sunday night. He went to the store and that is when he was attacked. He attempted to fight back but he was no match for Martinez. Police searched Martinez's home on the island and found Coleman's chain in addition to at least three other pieces of jewelry which investigators believe were also stolen property. With that, he has now been charged with three counts of robbery but more charges are pending.
