24-year-old Trevor Matthews has been charged for killing 19-year-old Natasha Young. Matthews was the driver of a Toyota Prado that barreled through the junction of Magazine and Cemetery Roads, slamming into a Toyota Camry. Young was in the back seat of the Prado and was flung unto the pavement, suffering major head trauma.

Matthews has been charged for manslaughter by negligence, causing death by careless conduct, driving without due care and attention, failure to adhere to a traffic sign and negligent harm. Police are now awaiting the results of an alcohol test to determine if Matthews was operating the vehicle with alcohol content above the prescribed limit.

The vehicle was the property of the U.S. Embassy, where, indications are, Matthews was employed.
