A man wanted in connection with a series of robberies in Belize City was caught yesterday and today he appeared in Magistrate's Court. 21-year-old Jarrett Crawford appeared before Chief Magistrate Margaret McKenzie where he was charged with 5 counts of robbery and 1 count of wounding.
It is alleged that between January 4 and 13th Crawford along with another man robbed two women and three men of bicycles, money, jewelry and other items in separate incidents. They reported that Crawford was armed with a knife during the attacks. One of the victims told police that the assailant punched him in the mouth.
