Passerby Saves Teen Boy from Thugs

A 13-year-old student escaped being robbed yesterday because of the assistance of a good samaritan.

The teenager Ian Abraham was riding his bicycle on Waight Street along with two other youths his age when he was pounced upon by two men riding bicycles.

They knocked him off his bike held him down and tried to search his pockets for a Motorola Razr phone he had on him. Abraham resisted and one of the men bit him on the shoulder. That's when a passerby, also on bicycle pulled out a machete he had on his bike and fended off the attackers.
