Their mother was killed and they were shot during a massacre on Sunday morning but there is encouraging news to report tonight about the medical condition of Wen Zhao Xu and Wen Yi Xu.
9-year-old Wen Zhao Xu was shot in the left side of his face and was hospitalized at the KHMH. He has since left the KHMH and is now at the Medical Associates with his sister where his family told us he is walking around and talking.
There is also some good news to report about his 11-year-old sister Wen Yi Xu. She was shot in the right side of her face and seriously wounded in her eye. The news tonight is that she is doing better. She has regained consciousness but is still unable to talk. Doctors are waiting for the swelling of eye to go down before she undergoes an operation.
Meanwhile their mother who was killed will be buried on Sunday.
