Police have recovered a tractor that was stolen from Maskall Village and ended up all the way in a village north of Chetumal. It was reported stolen on the 30th August, watchman Calvin Pascual says he saw a Spanish man driving a John Deere tractor off Johnny Johnson's farm. Orange Walk and Corozal police contacted Mexican authorities who led them to the village of Cacao, just north of Chetumal. There, they found the tractor in a cane field. Police believe that two Carmelita men, 34-year-old Calbert Hinds and 43-year-old Wilbert Pook are responsible and both have been detained.
