There is another complaint tonight about police officers with big guns and bad attitudes. Timmy Stamp has a small store on Dean Street and says that yesterday evening around 5 a team of about a dozen police officers went into his store and roughed him up, as well as a customer.

Timmy Stamp,
"They disrespected me man. They started turning over my things. They went with some "fonto" I was selling, "fonto" which I know every Chiney man sells. And they went with those and one of them disrespected and opened up my deep freezer and slammed it down and broke it. It was already welded already and when he slammed it down, the welding which it had on broke."

Keith Swift,
How many officers were there?

Timmy Stamp,
"About 15 of them and I don't know what is the reason. They talked that they would bruk me up and so for no reason because I told the man that he broke my icebox. He asked me if I wanted him to take me to the back to bruk me up. Those policemen are overdoing so I really want something done about them. And then a customer came in the shop to buy and the policeman took the back of the gun and knocked the customer in the face with it and those things are wrong."

Stamp also claims that money was taken from his cash register. He has not made a complaint to the Internal Affairs Department.
