Dangriga police have arrested and charged a 38 year old man for molesting not one - but two of his daughters. The children’s grandmother took them to the police station to make the report on Monday afternoon. The girls are 8 and 10 years old.
The 8 year old told police that in January her father took her into his room and forced her to perform oral sex on him. He then tried to rape her. The 10-year-old told police that starting in January and continuing to March 29th, her father has been raping her. A medical examination confirmed her story as a doctor classified her injuries as grievous harm. The medical test on the 8-year-old revealed that she was not carnally known.
The man has been charged for incest, grievous harm, and indecent assault. As hideous as his crimes are – to protect his daughters – we cannot release his name.
