His name has been mentioned in connection with multiple investigations, and now well known police constable twenty six year old Delmar Moguel was finally charged for something. This afternoon, he was taken over to Magistrate’s Court where he was charged for a threat of death he made against a fellow police officer one Griffith earlier in the day on Wednesday. It’s a fairly unremarkable charge for allegedly telling a fellow police constable that he – Moguel – will shoot and kill him. Moguel pleaded not guilty, and though the police prosecutor objected to bail, he received bail of $2,500. Police Press Officer Palacio commented on the case.
Clemente Palacio,
“Well I don’t want to go into specifics since this is just one case before the police and I think they are treating it as any other case. An offense has been committed and whenever an offense has been committed, the natural order of justice takes over and of course he is facing charges like anybody else. Clearly there has been no kind of cover up in that regard and the matter has been made public.”
Moguel, a 6 year veteran of the department has been placed on interdiction. But his troubles are far from over because following his appearance in Magistrate’s Court he was further detained for another incident that occurred later in the night- and this one is very remarkable.
