Policeman Busted with Loaded Gun in Unlicensed Car

For law abiding citizens traffic checkpoints are nothing more than a nuisance, but on Friday night in Seine Bight a checkpoint turned up a group of men going equipped to start something serious.

At 10, transport officer John Briggs was on operation in Seine Bight Village, when his spotted a car without a license plate. The transport team pursued and forced it to stop. Four men were inside along with a sawed off shot gun and live rounds of ammunition. One of them, Police Corporal Shaun Andrews carried a 38 revolver with live rounds. His three associates are from Camalote Village. All four were arrested and detained pending charges.
