3 Chinese Nationals Run with US$100,000 from their Boss in Free Zone

There’s an all points bulletin out tonight for three Chinese persons who allegedly stole close to US$100,000 from their employer. They are cashier Li Ting, manager Liang Jun and general manager Kan Shi Kun, employees of Yabra Plaza in the Corozal Free Zone.

Another manager, 28 year old Shung Jun told police that at noon on Friday he checked the office safe and realized that all the cash had been stolen. And it is a lot! There was US$40,000, 300,000 pesos, and BZ$15,000. That’s about US$80,000 total and more than that, the trio picked up an additional US$10,000 from a cashier before they left.

The owner Kevin Singh is presently out of the country. Police are looking for the trio for questioning.
