A Santa Elena Gas Station was cleaned out on the weekend, and police say the gas station attendants are the main suspects. Nolberto Rancharan, the owner of CP Gas Station in Santa Elena Town, told police that he locked up his business at 10:30 on Sunday night and when he came back at 6:00 the following morning, he found that the safe had been stolen. And it’s what was inside the safe that mattered. Rancharan told police he had $30,000 in jewelry inside.
Police have detained four young men: 18 year old Brian Roland, 19 year old Joshua Coleman, 24 year old Shayan Garnett – all gas station attendants and 22 year old Raymond Rudon, a cab driver. Police are also following up on leads that the safe may have been stowed away at the local cemetery.
