33 year old Jason Jones is in jail tonight after he pleaded guilty in court to peeping on a woman who was taking a shower. The woman, who is a clerk at a government department, says she was taking her morning shower around 7:30 this morning when she saw a shadow. She first thought someone was in the bathroom with her but it was in fact Jones peeping through her window from outside. She quickly put on her clothes and ran outside and saw Jason Jones, who is a sanitation worker, in her yard.
It turns out he stood on something so he could peep into her window. She called police and Jones was arrested. He was charged for committing a mischievous act and trespassing. He pleaded guilty and was fined a total of $200 plus $5 costs of court. He had until October 14th to pay the fine. But he wasn’t free to go because it turns out Jones owes the court $1,000 for a drug possession conviction in 2004 in addition to $200 other dollars. So Jones is tonight in jail and he’ll remain there until he can pay his fine.
