Teens Charged for Robbing Gary Gentle at Gunpoint

Police have charged two men for the armed robbery of Anchor Security’s boss Gareth Gentle. As we reported, Gentle was inside Slip & Slide Barbershop on East Collet Canal on Saturday December 5th when two men entered and pointed a gun at him. They grabbed his 9 milimeter Ruger brand pistol which was loaded with 10 live rounds of ammunition. They also snatched his gold chain with a diamond medal valued at 54 thousand dollars, and Gentle’s cell phone. The gold chain was recovered last week.

The men charged are actually – boys – one is 16 and the other only 15. They were both charged in Family Court yesterday for robbery. They were denied bail and remanded to the Youth Hostel until January 30th.
