Today San Pedro Police would not confirm to 7News but we understand that they have arrested three persons they had detained in connection with the killings of John Paul Saldivar, James Swan and Edward Gutierrez better known as Bra’ Lee. But with so many dead, just who killed who is still unsure. According to reports, the three individuals identified as Brionne Swift, Alex Soler and Victor Garnett have been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
San Pedro Police continue to investigate into the gruesome triple murder – in which all three bodies were found fifteen to sixteen miles north of Ambergris Caye in what is believed to have been a drug related execution. On Saturday morning the badly beaten and bullet riddled body of John Paul Saldivar was found in an area known as Rocky Point. And then on Monday evening police went to an area one mile and a half north of Rocky Point. There in a shallow grave they discovered the bodies of James Swan and Edward Gutierrez.
Police strongly believe the homicides are connected to drugs. Nearby, they found bags that the drugs had presumably been wrapped in. Because the bodies of James Swan and Edward Gutierrez were partially decomposed, late Tuesday evening Chief Pathologist Mario Estradabran conducted a post mortem on site. Reports are that the two men were badly beaten and then shot to death. When police dug up the grave they found the bodies of James Swan and Edward Gutierrez facing each other.
