Two Teens Survive Gun Assault

Gun violence in the city which spiked on Friday, continued last night as two teens were shot. The 16 and 17 year olds told police that last night they were riding separate bikes on Far West Street when two armed masked men jumped in front of them and fired a single shot from a shotgun. The 17 year old received pellet wounds to his upper back while the 16 year old was hit in the right elbow. Both were rushed to the hospital where the 16 year old was admitted in a stable condition and the 17 year old critical. They say they allege shooter escaped through an alley. Police are investigating.
