And while he’s been remanded, Alex Underwood’s sister Tessa Underwood says her brother is wrongfully charged. While Underwood has had many, many brushes with the law she says that in this case, police made a statistical arrest because they knew of a history of violence between the deceased and her bother.
Tessa Underwood, Says Her Brother Didn’t Do It
“Right now I noh happy, my family noh happy and I know my brother isn’t happy because he is going to jail for something, and I know for a fact he won’t spend two or three months, he will spend a year or two or three years – as long as the police could abstract him. As long as they could, they will do it. I would really want the DPP or whoever is listening to help me to find the right person who did this crime because it is not fair for somebody to go to jail who knows nothing about this at all. My main point is that it is a masked person who did this murder as they say on the street. If it is a masked man, there is no way they could find out and say this it is Alex or any other person. So that is my point right there.”
Underwood has been remanded until July 22nd when he appeared before Senior Magistrate Dorothy Flowers.
