Spelling Bee Champ's Laptop Stolen

Remember Christopher Castillo? He is the 11 year old who won this year’s spelling bee. He took home a high school scholarship to Saint John’s College and a brand new laptop. The news tonight is that his 30 gigabyte Dell laptop has been stolen.

His mother Glenis Castillo says that last week she took it to Belmopan Comprehensive High School for anti-virus software to be installed. She says she left it there but when she returned on Monday it was gone.

Castillo says only teachers had access to the room. She asks the public to be on the lookout for the stolen laptop. You can contact her at 600-5408 or the nearest police station.
