Denfield Tasher Charged for Robbery

Police say they have one of the men who robbed Tienda Melchor in broad daylight on Friday. 20 year old Denfield Tasher Jr. was charged with four counts of robbery when he appeared today in the #6 Magistrate’s Court. Tasher pleaded not guilty, but because it is a firearm offence, he was denied bail.

On Friday two men strode into Tienda Melchor and stole two thousand dollars, along with some cell phones, boots and a bag. They flagged won a passing taxi and escaped. One suspect is still at large.
