They took turns at raping her before stabbing and cutting the throat of twenty year old Lord’s Bank housekeeper Cruz Sho and for that twenty one year old Linsdale Franklin and twenty one year old Ryan Herrera will spend the rest of their life in prison for killing their victim. The brutal homicide that took place inside the victim’s bedroom on March fifteenth, 2007 started off first as a robbery.
The prosecution’s chief witness was nineteen year old Erwin Franklin, an uncle and a cousin of both the accused who was along with the pair when the crime occurred. The assailants had gone to the residence to steal but during the burglary Linsdale Franklin and Ryan Herrera raped Cruz Sho and then killed their victim.
Today the cousins were sentenced by Justice Michelle Arana. Both had character witnesses, a grand aunt and a former teacher who asked for leniency for the accused describing them as good persons.
