He beat up his own mother and damaged her household items and now a 20 year old will have nine months in jail to consider his actions. 20 year old Ryan Nolberto – an unemployed of Ordonez Avenue – today pleaded guilty to common assault and damage to property.
Magistrate Sharon Fraser gave Nolberto 6 months for damage to property and 3 months for common assault because he disrespected his mother and showed no remorse. Fraser stipulated that the sentences are to run consecutively which means that he will serve 9 months.
Around 9:15 last night, his mother asked him if he had gotten a job and when he replied no, she packed his things and told him to leave. She told police her son became infuriated and punched her several times and then damaged a number of her household items, including a refrigerator\ a stereo, a wash basin and a fan.
