He was accused of murder in 2004 but tonight 32 year old Keon Williams known as Gambis is accused of a very different kind of crime; Police say he buggered a 14 year old boy. It allegedly happened in November of last year sometime between two and four in the afternoon but the report was not made until last week Thursday.
The teenaged boy went with his mother to police and reported that he was picking up shells at the BTL Albert Park when he was approached by Williams who he has known for three years. He said Williams told him to take off his pants, and when he refused, Williams threatened him. The boy said that Williams then proceeded to sodomize him. According to the boy Williams tried to do the same thing on December thirty-first but he was prevented form doing so because the 14 year old was with a friend.
In court today, Williams was charged for an un-natural crime. No plea was taken because it is a matter that will be heard at the Supreme Court. The prosecution objected to bail because the accused allegedly tried to sodomize the child a second time. Magistrate Aretha Ford upheld the injunction and remanded Williams into custody until March second.
