On Tuesday afternoon a teacher and some students at St. Martin De Porres Primary School were attacked by parents of one of the students at the school. Today court reports are that three persons were arrested and charged for that incident. While General Manager of Catholic Schools Bernaldino Pech told 7News that he was told that no one was seriously injured, the charges against the accused are for harm and common assault.

The accused are thirty two year old businesswoman Kimberly Haulze, her thirty five year old sister Andrea O’Connor and their twenty six year old cousin Keron Daley. Information is still sketchy as to what happened but from we have been able to gather from court reports, on Tuesday two of the male students got into a scuffle. The older child, reportedly was choking the other student and that student reportedly hit the elder boy across the head with a stick. Both students were reportedly taken to the principal’s office by a teacher.

Reports are that around one that afternoon Kimberly Haulze who is one of the students’ parents barged into the school and into the teacher’s classroom where she, her sister and her cousin allegedly assaulted the teacher. It was during this incident we understand that some of the students came to their teacher’s defence and they too ended up being assaulted more than likely pushed away by the adults. We understand there were no serious injuries.

At the time of the incident there were only two school wardens present and the police were called out to the school that is when Woman Police Sergeant Amer Anderson was also assaulted. There are also court reports that a Police Constable Leroy Flowers was also assaulted.

Following their court appearances Kimberly and Andrea were released on bail of one thousand dollars each while Keron Daley was released on bail of six hundred dollars. Keron Daley was then escorted to magistrate court number six where he was charged with two counts of common assault and one count of assaulting a police officer. He was released on an additional bail of one thousand dollars. His case has been adjourned until March twenty sixth. Kimbery Haulze and Andrea O’Connor are scheduled to reappear in court also on March twenty sixth.
