On Friday night we told you about Carlos Jonathan Gibson the Alta Mira Corozal resident who was caught with a major shipment of cocaine on the Benque Viejo Road. Police report that the cocaine was artfully concealed between the pan of the pickup and the undercarriage – and it took officers over four hears searching to find it. We are told that even a drug sniffing dog was brought in and he couldn’t find it.

But police found 18 parcels after they took off the bumper. It weighed 20 kilos in total – that’s about 45 pounds – and Gibson was charged for drug trafficking. He was also charged for kept prohibited ammunition for one round of.45 ammunition that was in his pocket. He has been remanded into custody at the Hattieville Prison. Police suspect that Gibson was trafficking the cocaine from Guatemala through to Mexico.
