Police charged Alwyn Gonzalez and Tifara Bradley for trafficking heron, crack cocaine and cannabis plus possession of a three dozen live rounds of nine millimeter ammunition. Normally, they would have been automatically remanded to prison. But instead they spent last night in police detention and today Tifara Bradley got Supreme Court bail. That's because yesterday attorney Dickie Bradley asked the magistrate to stand down on their arraignment until he could arrange matters. The DPP agreed to waive the 7 day requirement for Bail and Justice Herbert Lord sat for a bail hearing. With that Bradley got bail of fifteen thousand dollars.

That happened after they were arraigned in the Magistrate Court on three counts of drug trafficking and keeping ammunition without a gun license. They were also charged with having a metal pipe used for smoking cannabis. They pleaded not guilty to the charges. Magistrate Sharon Fraser explained that she cannot offer bail due to the nature of some of the offences and remanded them until June 28th. Bradley who is a secretary got that Supreme Court bail while Gonzalez who is a car dealer was remanded. Police also intend to charge him for 2.4 kilos of cocaine found in a house on K Street.
