And the home that the grenade throwers targeted in January was aggressively searched by police this afternoon. It's part of a citywide gang crackdown - which we'll well you about later, but first to that house on Caesar Ridge Road where Jules Vasquez found relatives of Andre Trapp seething and outraged:...
Amidst howls police descended on this home on Caesar Ridge road, it is the family home of Andre Trapp. His cousins feel that instead of being allowed to grieve they are being harassed.
Andre Trapp Cousin
"They should harass the man who kill the man, not the one that are grieving for to harass but the one that kill him. They must be glad that the man is dead, let him rest in peace. "
These children were particularly terrorized; they were playing when the police barge in.
Andre Trapp Cousin
"We were in the yard playing me and my two cousins. They just come in the yard and point gun at us."
Jules Vasquez "Do you why they did this?"
Andre Trapp Cousin
"No, my cousin is already dead. They came and point gun at us when its the people that kill my cousin they should go after."
Julez Vasquez "What class are you in?"
Andre Trapp Cousin
"I am in Standard 5."
Jules Vasquez
"How old are you?"
Andre Trapp Cousin
"I am just 11."
