Right now at the Supreme Court, a jury of 8 men and 4 women is deliberating the fates of two brothers, 23 year old Jody Gentle and 21 year old Lynton Gentle. They are accused of the murder of Alpheus Smith Jr. known as June Bird who was shot and killed on June 16, 2007.

Smith was shot eight times while he was standing outside a parked car on Curassow street.

And this is one case were there was no chance of the witnesses getting cold feet or changing their story because the men who saw it happen are Senior Superintendent Chester Williams and Constable Obed Arzu.

Williams and Arzu saw when the men open fire on Smith and then set chase after them as they jumped into a red Chevy Tracker that was waiting on an adjoining street.

Both of the Gentle brothers testified and told the court that officers Williams and Arzu were lying and that neither cop knew them before the incident.

The brothers are represented by Hubert Elrington.

The jury went in at 4:37 pm and has not come out yet. We'll let you know if they do so during this newscast
