Twelve year old, Brittney Jones, a standard five student of Trinity Methodist School is missing. Today, her very worried mother, Jovita Jones told us that her daughter has a history of running away but she said she is very concerned this time.
Jones said that her daughter ran away on Saturday but was found and returned home on yesterday evening. But shortly after, the child went missing again from their home at 7173 Ceasar Ridge Road. The distraught mother said that she disciplined Brittney on Sunday and that may be the reason she ran away:
Jovita Jones, Mother
"When I reached home with her yesterday evening, I lash her for what she did because it was wrong. I sent her to full one gallon of water meanwhile I was making supper, she went and up to now I don't see her."
Andrea Polanco
"Did she say where she was the first time she went missing?"
Jovita Jones, Mother
"No ma'am, the police try to ask her where she slept and where she went, she claims to say that she slept in some house with a lot of dogs. I don't know miss, all I want is for who is appealing her to take her to the nearest police station or to contact me."
Andrea Polanco
"Is this something that she always does?"
Jovita Jones, Mother

"Well from since I won her through the court, it's not even six months yet since I have her and she already doing this to me about 50 times."
Andrea Polanco
"You say that she has done this several times, do you have any idea where she goes if it's with friends or strangers who...?"
Jovita Jones, Mother
"I don't have any idea miss."
Andrea Polanco
"Right now you just want your daughter to come back home."
Jovita Jones, Mother
"Because all kinds of things is happening our here miss. I am frustrated miss, all night I am out looking for my daughter, I haven't even sleep yet. I don't know if she sees me and she hide, I don't know miss. I haven't beat her, I haven't abuse her, I don't know what I did to her, I don't know."
