Prosser Fertilizer Company on North Front Street - a block form the swing bridge - was robbed on Friday afternoon. Today the manager of the store, 25 year old Enrique Henes told 7news that on Friday around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, he and Assistant manager Keeton Henry were inside the store when two men entered- both armed.
One of the men pointed a 9 millimeter pistol at Henes and demanded money- where he then searched the cash register and took ($4,136.00) four thousand, one hundred and thirty six dollars in cheques and ($1,411.00) one thousand four hundred and eleven dollars in cash, along with the manager's cell phone.
The other robber pointed a pen gun at assistant manager Keeton Henry and took away his cell phone. The two men then ran off. At the time no customers were inside the store. Henes told us today that the men did not wear masks.
