He was convicted for the murder of Efrain Rowley in 1988 and was recently released on parole. Well tonight 43 year old Kenrick McPherson, a resident of Sittee River in the Stann Creek District is back behind bars again - after violating the terms of his parole.
Unconfirmed reports are that McPherson was involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend 3 weeks ago - which was reported to police.
When police responded to the reports, McPherson ran off. It is said that he was later picked up by Dangriga police in Silk Grass Village.
He was charged for escape, which is a violation of his parole and so he is back at the Hattieville prison where he will serve out the remainder of his original sentence - which is about 9 more years.
In 1988, McPherson went to jail for killing Efrain Rowley in a bar brawl over a woman.
