Twenty one year old Brandon Allen, a labourer from Taylor's alley appeared yesterday in the Magistrate's Court and was arraigned on charges of robbery, theft and 2 counts of handling stolen goods.
He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail of eight thousand dollars. Allen was unable to meet bail so he was taken to prison.
Here's how he was caught: A police constable was on routine patrol through Taylor's Alley on Thursday, March 24, when he searched Allen and found a cell phone and a sim card in his pocket. Police investigated and discovered that the cell phone had been stolen from Jose Castillo on March 21 and the sim card was from a cell phone stolen from Junior Willoughby on March 18.
