We've heard about all kinds of reactions to rampant crime, but now a school in the south has gone on strike(!) after falling victim to thieves on successive occasions.
San Pedro Colombia RC School went on strike today and will remain that way until the perpetrator is found.
According to the teachers, it is the 5th time that the school has been burglarized and so they are fed up and will be striking until the police find the culprits.
This morning a hole was noticed in the ceiling of a Standard 4 classroom - which is only three classes away from the principal's office.
That was when they realized that the thief made its way into the office from through that hole in the ceiling and stole an undisclosed amount of money from the principal's office. The police are investigating.
