An alleged machete welding robber also appeared in court today.
23 year old taxi driver Nelson Diaz, who allegedly broke into the house of 36 year old Myra Machuca was charged with aggravated burglary when he appeared in Court today.
He pleaded not guilty and was offered bail of $6,000 but was unable to meet it and so he was taken to prison. Machuca a house wife residing at #4 Johnson Street, reported that around 10:30 on Sunday morning, Diaz entered armed with a machete and told her not to say anything to him the next time he passes her house.
She said Diaz swung the machete at her but her husband and son intervened, overpowered him and took away the machete.
