The police were on a major operation this morning - and we'll have details of all that was found shortly - but one youth who got caught up in the dragnet is not too happy.
The ITVET student says he fears the Police's actions will harm his chance of getting a job in the future. 21 year old Michael Bruhier says the Police backed by a warrant, searched his home at number 4 Cairo Street in the Mesopotamia area around 5:30 this morning, saying they were looking for drugs and ammunition.
The Student, who lives with his mother and two sisters, says after tearing his home apart and coming up with nothing, the police still dragged him down to the station and fingerprinted him.

"What happen this morning?"
Michael Bruhier
"I was awaken by police saying that they wanted to do a routine search at the area and my house - searching for drugs and ammunition and at the end of the routine I was taken to the police station to be profile in their database, there was no criminal evidence or charges against me but they still wanted to take me down."
Jim McFadzean
"Did the police present to you or any member of your family that occupied your house a warrant that you all were able to verify that they in fact had a warrant?"
Michael Bruhier
"Apparently they showed my mom the warrant but I didn't really see it myself."
Jim McFadzean
"Did they tell you what they were searching for?"
Michael Bruhier
"From what I heard my mom saying that they were searching for drugs and ammunition."
Jim McFadzean
"Any reason why they would have chosen your residence for that kind of search?"
Michael Bruhier
"I have no idea because its only me, my mom and two sisters that live in that house."
Jim McFadzean
"None of you have a criminal record?"
Michael Bruhier
"No, none of us have criminal records but I don't know if I have one now because of the process that they put me through despite the fact that they told me that I wasn't under arrest."
Jim McFadzean
"Why were you taken to the station? Did they explain to you why they were taking you to the station?"
Michael Bruhier
"They said that they were doing an update on all the records in the police records within the area of the men or something like that."
Jim McFadzean
"But they don't have an existing record of you, do they?"
Michael Bruhier
"No they didn't have a previous of me not in their database but I don't know what they have now when they do fingerprinting and profiling of me."
Jim McFadzean
"What's your concern about what transpired today?"
Michael Bruhier
"My concern is that in the future if I go to apply for a job and they say they want a criminal of me - when I go to apply they (the police) have stuff of me in their database, so would I be apply to that and why am I in that database if I wasn't arrested under no charges."
Bruhier is currently enrolled at ITVET, studying computer repair. And while police found nothing in that house, they did find other illegal items and we'll show you those coming up a little later on the news, but first, a commercial break….
