Man Gets Off Attempted Murder

A man who allegedly shot another left the Supreme Court a free man today after the victim said he did not want to press charges.

18 year old Stephan Flowers was accused of shooting Gilroy Garnett in July of 2009 in front of a Chinese Store on Freetown Road.

But today in court, Garnett said he does not want any further court action, and with that, Justice Herbert Lord directed the jury to return a formal verdict of not guilty against Flowers.
