On Sunday, a 52 year old Orange walk woman was found hanging on to life on a feeder road. Maria Elena Baeza was found 2 miles east of Yo Creek Village in Orange Walk Town - where her grey Ford Ranger Pick Up was seen parked about 10 feet away from her. She was seen suffering from multiple chop wounds to the head and face. Baeza was transported to the Northern regional Hospital and later to the KHMH where she is listed in a critical condition. Her family declined an interview with the media today. Police are looking for Orlando Sanchez- a villager of Yo Creek Village - who they believe can be of assistance in connection with the incident.
