Soldier Charged For Carnal Knowledge

Thirty one year old BDF soldier Jeremiah Coh, who allegedly had sex with a girl 15 years and 5 months old on two separate occasions was charged with 2 counts of unlawful carnal knowledge when he appeared today in the Magistrate's Court.

Magistrate Dorothy Flowers explained to Coh that she will not take a plea because the offences are indictable. She remanded him because the court cannot offer bail for such an offence. She remanded him into custody until July 19. The incidents occurred on February 22 and February 25. The girl, a high school student, reported to the police that Coh had sex with her on those two dates.
