Beaten With Bat, Nearly Blinded Says No Court Action

A man who was beaten with a baseball bat and a machete today told the court that he does not want any further action against his alleged assailants.

With that, 20 year old Donovan Pratt and 22 year old Decideo Erskine were acquitted of attempted murder and grievous harm charges. The incident happened in December of 2006 when Michael Baldwin was beaten and almost blinded in a swamp in Ladyville.
